Ferroir

Ferroir cantalien. Chaque village ou ferme possédait sont « travail à ferrer » les bovins. Le bâti maintenait l’animal sur les côtés pour éviter les coups de pied pendant les soins.
Le ferrage des animaux s’effectuait de préférence par mauvais temps ou lorsque les animaux étaient au repos. Cantalian Ferroir. Each village or farm owned is ‘work to ferrer’ the cattle. The frame held the animal on the sides to avoid kicking during care.
The shoeing of the animals was preferably carried out in bad weather or when the animals were at rest.
